Magdy Hanna, Ph.D.
Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Hanna is a seasoned leader in software engineering and organizational development, with over three decades of experience shaping global standards in software quality and testing. As Founder, CEO, and Chairman of the International Institute for Software Testing (IIST), he has built the leading professional development organization providing education-based certifications to software quality professionals worldwide. He also established and chairs major international conferences, including the Practical Software Quality and Testing Conference (PSQT) and the International Conference on Software Process Improvement (ICSPI), creating platforms that influence industry practices and thought leadership.
Beyond organizational leadership, Dr. Hanna has directed editorial strategy as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Software Test Professionals, guided enterprises as a consultant in defining and improving software processes, and advanced the field through the development of innovative methodologies such as the Software Quality Engineering Methodology (SQEngineer), the Unified Data Model (UDM), and the Data-Driven Object Model (DOM). His career reflects a consistent focus on building institutions, shaping industry standards, and driving global impact in software engineering and quality assurance.
Paul Grossman
Chief Technology Officer
Paul Grossman Paul Grossman is known in the industry as the Dark Arts Wizard of AI Driven Test Automation. He has been a Test Automation Champion and Evangelist for 20+ years. He began as a Software Developer Engineer in Test with Mercury WinRunner before working with QTP/UFT for 16 years. He has experience in numerous test automation tool sets including Playwright in TypeScript, Selenium with Java and WebdriverIO in JavaScript.
In the past, he has automated the testing of medical equipment, insurance policies and entertainment kiosks. He is currently an independent consultant for a Trucking company automating the regression suite of tests with low code automation platforms. This also included providing mocks-ups of feature enhancements often requested by customers. Prior to that, he was a Project Manager for a freight tracking company based in Ann Arbor handling a WebdriverIO suite comprised of 1200+ automated test cases running every night.
In 2023, he co-authored "Enhanced Test Automation with WebdriverIO: Unlocking the Superpowers of Hybrid Testing Frameworks" with Larry Goddard. This was based on his years of experience to help new SDETs avoid real-world pitfalls and challenges. More books with Playwright and Cypress are in the planning stages.
Paul has been a conference speaker since 2004 including ZappleTech's monthly meetups and Joe Colantonio's Test Guild every Halloween. These always include a live demos, sharing tips from his experiences, with a little humor and the occasional magic trick. When Paul is not spending time automating test cases, he is producing demo videos on his a fledgling TikTok account as well as his YouTube and TwiX accounts with thousands of followers.
He just started a live multi-stream channel on LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitch.

Samuel Hanna
VP of Quality Engineering
Samuel brings over a decade of expertise in project management, quality assurance, and technology adoption. Throughout his career, he has championed excellence in engineering and project management practices, leading initiatives that integrated modern technologies into development and quality processes. His strengths include building cross-functional teams and implementing enterprise-wide quality frameworks that drive consistency and efficiency.
As Vice President of Quality Engineering, Samuel ensures the iALM.ai platform meets the highest standards of reliability, performance, and compliance. He oversees the company’s quality engineering strategy, guiding teams in the design and execution of testing frameworks, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives. With a strong foundation in project management, quality management, and emerging technologies, Samuel works closely with both development and quality assurance teams to embed quality into every stage of the product lifecycle.
Kunal Khosla
Product Development Lead (Cloud & API Specialist)
With over 16 years of experience in software development, Kunal has built a career grounded in designing, developing, and delivering robust, scalable, and secure applications. His expertise lies in the Microsoft technology stack, with extensive knowledge of C#, Visual Studio, and frameworks such as .NET Framework, .NET Core, Webforms, MVC, and Entity Framework.
Kunal brings strong proficiency in API development and cloud architecture, enabling modern, distributed solutions that meet enterprise demands. His technical toolkit also includes SQL Server (complex query writing and optimization), IIS administration, and front-end technologies like JavaScript and jQuery, complemented by a solid understanding of RESTful services, JSON, and design patterns.
Throughout his career, He consistently delivered solutions that balance performance, maintainability, and scalability. He thrives in environments that demand innovation, problem-solving, and collaboration. Kunal is passionate about leveraging technology to drive business success.
